Couple outfits

Couple photoshoot outfits that go together, not match.

Coordinating two outfits is the hardest part of any couple shoot. See the same photo of a couple in three pairs, pick the one that feels like you two and wear it in every photo of your shoot.

One couple, three pairs

Same street, same golden light, same two people. Only the pair of outfits changes.

Coordinate, don't match

Matching outfits make a couple look like a team uniform. Coordinated ones look like two people who just happen to go together, which is the whole point of a couple photo.

The trick is a shared palette with different pieces: linen and terracotta, cream and navy, black and one deep color. Neither of you disappears, and the photo still reads as one.

Every couple scene comes with pairs built that way, one outfit for each of you. Swap who wears which, or change one of them, and the other still fits.

Staircase Embrace – Luxury Hotel photoshoot

Pick a palette for two

Start from the place: warm neutrals for a summer street, deep colors for a gala, cream and camel for a winter cabin. Then give one of you the highlight, a red dress or a terracotta polo, and keep the other calm. Two loud outfits fight each other; one quiet, one bright looks intended. If one of you wears a pattern, the other wears a solid color.

Gala Couple – Opera Gala photoshoot

Same level of dressed-up

The one rule that never breaks: both of you dressed for the same occasion. A suit next to a hoodie reads as a mistake, not a style. Each pair in our scenes is set to the same level, from relaxed linen to black tie at the gala. Shoes count too: sneakers next to heels only work when both outfits are relaxed.

Your own clothes, together

Want to wear the dress from your first date or his favorite jacket? Upload photos of either outfit and wear it in the scene, while the other wears one of ours. Your own style adds 20% to the order, however many outfits change. More couple ideas: the couple photoshoot page. Whatever the photos don't show is picked to match, and the other outfit still fits.

Couple photoshoot outfits: questions

What should couples wear for a photoshoot?

Outfits that share a palette but not the pieces, at the same level of dressed-up. One of you can carry the highlight, the other stays calm. Every couple scene comes with pairs that work this way.

Should couples match outfits?

Coordinate rather than match. Identical colors and pieces flatten a photo; two different outfits from one palette look natural and still belong together.

Can we pick a different outfit for each of us?

Yes. Each of you has your own outfit: one of the scene's pairs, one you build, or your own clothes from a photo.

Does choosing outfits cost extra?

The scene's pairs come with every couple shoot. Building your own or wearing your own clothes adds 20% to the order, once, however many outfits change.

Do we need photos of both of us?

A photo of you together and one of each of you alone works best, so each outfit goes to the right person.
