Why a studio headshot still wins
Recruiters and clients decide in seconds. A neutral backdrop keeps all the attention on your face, soft light makes you look rested and approachable, and a simple outfit never dates. That's why the studio headshot is still the safest choice for anything professional – calm, bright and quietly confident. It works on an application, a company website and a conference badge alike, and it still looks current years from now.

Two looks, one shoot
The shoot moves from a tailored blazer to a softer knit, so you get a formal version for applications and a friendlier one for LinkedIn or your website. Poses range from the classic straight-on headshot to arms crossed with space for a banner, a relaxed seated shot and a candid laugh. Same light and backdrop throughout, so every photo you pick looks like part of one set.

Still you, on a good day
Your face, glasses, beard and build stay as they are – we don't slim, de-age or airbrush anyone – so the person in the photo is the person who walks into the interview. A clear front photo in daylight and one with a real smile give the closest likeness. Pick a recent photo that looks like you do these days – that's who the shoot will show.
What's in your Studio Headshot photoshoot

Studio Headshot photoshoot: questions
Can I use these headshots for a job application?
Yes. The neutral gray backdrop and business look follow the conventions of a classic application photo. Choose the tight headshot or the half-body portrait and crop it to the size your résumé template needs.
Will my glasses and beard stay the same?
Yes – glasses, facial hair, head coverings and visible tattoos are kept as they are in your photos. A photo that shows them clearly gives the most accurate result.
Which photo works best as a profile picture?
The close-up headshot as your profile picture. The landscape shot with arms crossed leaves empty space on one side, which makes a good LinkedIn banner or website header.
Can I wear my own blazer?
Yes. The navy blazer and the soft knit are the scene's looks, and either can be swapped: another outfit, a single piece in a different color, or the blazer you'd wear to the interview, uploaded as a photo.
